Three members of the same family will stand trial at a sheriff and jury sitting at Perth Sheriff Court in the New Year on assault charges.
Ian McDougall, 35, of Kenmore Street, Michael McDougall, 27, of Moness Terrace, and Mark McDougall, 27, of Breadalbane Terrace, all Aberfeldy, all deny a charge that on March 23 at The Square, Aberfeldy, they repeatedly punched a man on the head and body, knocked him to the ground, repeatedly kicked him on the head and repeatedly stamped on his head, all of which rendered him unconscious to his severe injury and to the danger of his life.
Ian McDougall and Michael McDougall also deny a charge that, on the same date at the same address, they repeatedly punched another man on the head and body, knocked him to the ground, repeatedly kicked him on the head and body, all of which rendered him unconscious to the danger of his life.
