More than 140 young cyclists descended on Perthshire for a cycling event that attracted entries from across the UK and Europe.
The Scottish Cycling Youth Tour of Scotland returned for a fifth consecutive year and saw teams from Belgium, Isle of Man, Ireland and Wales competing in the four-stage event.
Around 140 young cyclists took part in the event, with some roads around Perth being closed to accommodate the cyclists and hundreds of spectators.
The stages of the cycling tour, which began on Saturday, included Forteviot, Coupar Angus and Monday at Strathallan School, Forgandenny.
Bob MacFarlane, events officer for Scottish Cycling and organiser for the event, said: “The Youth Tour of Scotland is one of our flagship events.
“It is a great opportunity for the young riders we have in Scotland to showcase their skills and compete against the very best riders from around the UK, Ireland and Belgium.
“With more than 183 affiliated clubs across the country and more than 650 events to choose from, it has never been easier to get involved.”
All the teams, along with volunteer team managers, stayed at Strathallan School throughout the weekend and were offered coaching tips and workshops from some of Scotland’s best coaches in between races.
The Scottish Cycling Youth Tour of Scotland is regarded as an opportunity for upcoming talent to get the experience of what it is like to be a professional rider and to help the winners on their way to future stardom.
The winners will be invited to this year’s Tour of Britain, which takes place in Glasgow in September.
