A Fife man who went missing while out hillwalking in Perthshire last night has been found safe and well.
Three mountain rescue teams consisting of Tayside Police and two civilian teams from Killin and Tayside were alerted around 6pm after the walker’s companion reported the pair had become separated near the summit of Ben Vorlich.
The missing walker was found at 12.20am in what were described as “difficult weather conditions” and made it safely off the hill by 2.20am.
The man was described as being in his mid-40s.
