Perth Show enjoyed a successful opening day as the weather held and crowds flocked to the North Inch.
Friday’s events included the judging of all things equestrian.
Perthshire Agricultural Society secretary Neil Forbes said: “It stayed dry underfoot and the ground hasn’t cut up in any way with the horses so the area has been left in reasonably good condition.”
The grand parade of livestock prize winners will take place today at 2.30pm, led by the winner of the Perth Quaich.
This award will go to the champion in the Heavy Horse Section, including Clydesdales, Highland Ponies and Shetland Ponies.
After the grand parade there will be a display of vintage vehicles followed by the daring stunt men of Devils Horsemen, who will give an exciting performance of horsemanship.
