A woman who vandalised her ex-partner’s car has been ordered by a court to stay out of trouble.
Vasilica Despa turned up at her former boyfriend’s property in the early hours of September 19 and hammered on his door to get his attention.
When he refused to allow her inside, she thought he may be hiding another woman. As she left, she snapped the aerial on his BMW convertible.
The 41-year-old was arrested and spent two nights in custody.
She appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Thursday and admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause fear and alarm by repeatedly banging on her ex-partner’s door and shouting. She also caused about £20 of damage to his car.
Depute fiscal Carol White told the court the pair had been in a relationship for four years, but split up in August.
Despa, of Newhouse Road, Perth, arrived at her ex’s home in Luncarty at around 1.30am. He called police when she refused to leave.
The court heard that Despa had offered to pay for the damage, but her former partner declined her help.
Sentence was deferred for six months.
