Perth street closed after suspected stabbing

A large section of the centre of Perth was cordoned off on Sunday night following a suspected stabbing.

The incident took place in County Place at around 7.30pm and is understood to have involved two men.

One side of the street was closed for more than an hour as police carried out inquiries, resulting in some disruption to businesses.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident but has not yet spoken to the police is asked to call 0300 111 2222.
