Police view CCTV footage after Perth taxi attack

Officers searching for a man who assaulted a taxi driver and his two female passengers in Perth are reviewing CCTV footage.

The unprovoked attack took place on Sunday at around 3.15am in North Methven Street, just a short distance from the Murray Street taxi rank.

The assailant is described as being white, in his late twenties, 5ft 6in and of slim build, with short dark hair.

He entered a silver Vauxhall Zafira and, after becoming verbally abusive, carried out the assaults.
