A teenager has been arrested after an 18-year-old died following a car crash in Fife.
The 18-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Little Balquhomrie Farm near the village of Leslie, Glenrothes, on Friday morning.
An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called around 11.10am on Friday, May 22, following the report of a one-vehicle road crash involving a car and pedestrian at Little Balquhomrie Farm, Glenrothes.
“Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man who had suffered serious injuries was pronounced dead at the scene.
“An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
