GAME stores will be stocking the new magazine.
GAME stores will be stocking the new magazine.

As it prepares to launch its first-ever children’s gaming magazine, DC Thomson has announced a new partnership with high street retailer GAME.

More than 300 GAME stores throughout the UK will stock 110% Gaming, a new titled aimed at young people aged between eight and 12 years.

It will go on sale on October 15, although GAME customers pre-ordering copies of Lego Batman 3 will receive a free copy.

Head of circulation at DC Thomson Iain McKenzie said he was “delighted” with the link-up with the games retailer.

He added: “It’s a real coup for us to be working with GAME and to be stocked in the gaming hub of the high street.

“DC Thomson is a trusted children’s publisher and this is our first launch in the children’s gaming market.

“We’ve had a fantastic response from retail buyers to the magazine.”

110% Gaming will feature imaginative, creative and fun gaming content, including multi-platform reviews, tips and giveaways.

The title will be complemented by an interactive website at www.110gaming.com, alongside a YouTube channel and social media.

As well as being stocked in GAME, it will also be sold in all major retailers, including WH Smith, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons.
