A man’s death at a block of flats near the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh is being treated as unexplained, police have said.
Officers cordoned off a road at Holyrood Court after emergency services were called at about 2pm on Thursday.
They were standing guard at the cordon as the afternoon progressed.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 2pm on Thursday, officers were called to the Holyrood Court area of Edinburgh, following the sudden death of a man.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
