Coming up in Friday’s Courier Belligerence, DIY and bright young things

In Friday’s Courier meet a very belligerent man.

A very belligerent man who almost drove a fire engine off the road.

The fellow in question repeatedly refused to let it overtake on the way to a 999 call, despite the fact its sirens were blaring.

When the fire engine did at last manage to pull past said pensioner, did he realise his mistake and offer a contrite wave of apology?

Did he heck.

He offered up a rude gesture.

Said pensioner was duly banned from the road at court.

Did he apologise for his mistake and leave the dock with his tail between his legs?

Did he heck?

Despite warnings form his legal team he got straight into his car and drove off again.

Read the full remarkable story in your frankly flabbergasted Courier.

His gast may not have been flabbered, but we also have news of the man left at least slightly surprised after he lifted some floorboards while carrying out some renovations and found a First World War medal.

Can The Courier reunite the lost medal with its owner (or at least his relatives)?

We’re at least going to give it a jolly good try.

In other news we reflect on the hunners and hunners of bright young things graduating at Dundee and Stirling universities.

They are all rather clever and it is our great honour and pleasure to salute them.

The price of petrol.

It’s enough to make you go “grrr” and possibly even “nnng” (lest there be any doubt that is a cry of frustration and anger).

Are we being totally ripped off?

We find out.

Great, great, great, great, great, great, great stuff awaits readers on Friday. It really is great. I want to make its greatness quite clear, and hope I may have conveyed that. Please do snap up a copy. Failing that, why not try our digital edition? Guess what? It’s great.
