Coming up in Thursday’s Courier Feeling hot hot hot

Tss.

That, I hardly need tell you, is the sound made by a licked finger coming into contact with Thursday’s Courier.

It’s red hot, you see.

Not just because latest stats would suggest 2014 has been the hottest year since records began.

And if that isn’t enough to guarantee us a rank rotten December of plummeting temperatures then I’m a Dutch man (which I’m not).

But fear not. Whatever the weather, Thursday’s Courier is an absolute sizzler.

The best since records began, one might argue.

We have the quite wonderful story of the octogenarian who had a chat with a local young lad after spotting herself on one of his tattoos.

The lady in question was snapped in an iconic Dundee location more than 50 years ago. Said young fella was much taken by the image and ended up getting it inked upon his person.

It was our considerable pleasure to then bring together both aforementioned pensioner and the chap I mentioned both in the paragraph above and indeed the one above that.

You can read all about it, read all about it (as Emeli Sande so memorably crooned after perusing a previous copy of The Courier (perhaps)) in Thursday’s edition.

If you are planning to have a few drinks before getting behind the wheel then STOP.

Largely because it is a really stupid thing to do. However, it is about to be even more silly than normal and that’s a legal fact.

The drink drive limit is set to be slashed, meaning even a single pint could put you over the limit (a pint of beer I mean a pint of vodka or gin would almost certainly have put you over the previous limit too).

We have all the latest.

Wednesday saw the Autumn statement. Given by George Osborne. Jolly important stuff and all that.

We have all the news on how it may impact on you, through a rather cunning raft of case studies/top analysis etc etc.

A wonderful read is on the cards. If you want to be dealt the best possible hand (just trying to keep the cards analogy going) be sure to pick up an Ace in the form of Thursday’s Courier. If you don’t fancy the paper version but still want to hit the jackpot, why not try our digital edition?
