Coming up The best nativity scene ever

Coming up The best nativity scene ever

Christmas is approaching so let Coming Up take you on a peaceful festive journey.

We’re going to Cupar, where one of the most impressive nativity scenes ever seen on these shores has been created.

Imagine, if you will, a scene of serenity, bathed in soft light with melodic Christmas music washing over it.

And lo! before you is a vision of wonder, a diorama of delight, a panorama of pleasure.

There is the stable, ready for the arrival of the Jesus’s parents and their swaddled babe.

There are the shepherds, tending their flocks.

There are the three wise men with the gifts of frankincense, gold and myrrh.

And there’s a wee lad in the corner, taking a dump.

Eh?! What?!

Find out why the little tyke has so rudely intruded on our wondrous musings in Tuesday’s Courier.

While you’re at it, you can also have a gander at the WHITE HELL that hit Courier country and read about the further travails set to hit motorists and those reliant on electricity over coming days.

We also take a look at impressive Meccano creations going up for sale later this week and describe their owner/ creator’s heartache at letting them go.

And we explain why it’s not a great idea to pick up wildlife from the beach and lob it back into the sea.

You can also find out about Prince Valler, the society tattooist and learn who, if anyone, is casting covetous glances at Dundee United’s magnificently coiffured Stuart Armstrong.

All this and so much more is available in Tuesday’s Courier.
