Rain, cold even sna. We put spring under the microscope in Tuesday’s Courier

There’s something in the air tonight.

And that something as Phil Collins so nearly memorably crooned is a veritable shedload of precipitation.

Yip folks, welcome to a very Scottish spring.

Rain, wind, plummeting temperatures and even sna. What a remarkable turn of events.

We cast our eye over the deteriorating weather picture in Tuesday’s new look and really rather corking Courier.

Away from the drudgery of the weather, and we check in with one time Perthshire resident Ewan McGregor who is selling a rather nifty looking car.

McGregor, who now lives in Beverly Hills (poor fellow it really doesn’t compare with leafy Crieff), has had some good times in the motor but reckons it’s time for a change (largely because he can’t fit it in his garage).

We have the full story.

Gay marriage.

Love it or hate it, it’s a fact of life these days.

But has the Kirk grasped that concept?

And will they be in legal bother as a result of their stance?

We find out more.

Meanwhile, we are now approaching the election final countdown, as Europe so nearly memorably crooned (much to Farage’s disgust).

Our man Kieran Andrews has been out on the campaign trial.

“What’s going on today?” I politely inquired.

“Balls” he bellowed enigmatically.

It later transpired he meant Ed, the heavy-hitting Labour fella.
