Forest Green could start forward Elliott Frear when they host Swindon in their Sky Bet League Two clash.

Frear returned from a six-week injury lay-off at Northampton with a 33-minute cameo from the bench and the winger could press for a return to the starting XI.

Joseph Mills should retain his place in defence, although Farrend Rawson is pushing for a recall after dropping to the bench as an unused substitute at Sixfields.

Boss Mark Cooper may be tempted to shuffle his pack as he bids to end a winless run of five matches in all competitions.

Jordan Lyden is doubtful for Swindon’s trip to the New Lawn and faces a late fitness test.

The midfielder missed Saturday’s visit of Oldham and his availability will be determined by whether he takes part in training on Friday.

Lloyd Isgrove (knee) could step up his return from a knee injury – the midfielder returned to the squad after a seven-week lay-off to come on as a last-minute substitute against Oldham – the Robins’ eighth on the spin.

Keshi Anderson’s muscle injury is being managed and, although the striker is back in training, he may have to bide his time with Eoin Doyle in prolific form, while defender Dion Conroy remains sidelined with a long-term injury.
