Managerless Bristol Rovers will have Ollie Clarke available again for the Sky Bet League One match against Peterborough.

Midfielder Clarke had to sit out the midweek FA Cup replay win at Plymouth through suspension, with Cameron Hargreaves coming into the side.

Assistant manager Joe Dunne has been given permission to talk to Mansfield about joining them to work alongside former boss Graham Coughlan, so it remains to be seen who will take charge of the team against Posh.

Forward Jonson Clarke-Harris (calf) continues his recovery along with Abu Ogogo and defender Mark Little.

Peterborough will be without full-back Nathan Thompson after he picked up a thigh problem during the first half of last weekend’s win over Bolton.

Niall Mason is expected to fill in, while midfielder Marcus Maddison, forward Ivan Toney and Joe Ward should all feature again following their recent returns.

George Boyd (knee) has been stepping up his rehabilitation and should come back into contention over Christmas.

Midfielder Siriki Dembele (hand), forward Idris Kanu (eye), defender Frazer Blake-Tracy (ankle) and Josh Knight (quad) continue their own recovery.
