Gary Oliver earned Queen of the South a share of the spoils as Dunfermline failed to make their domination tell during a 1-1 draw in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Oliver scored just after the hour to cancel out Kyle Turner’s early opener for Dunfermline as both sides picked up their second draw of the league season.
Queen of the South started strongly but Dunfermline took the lead after eight minutes when Turner beat two markers before firing low into the right-hand corner of the goal.
Darren Brownlie nearly drew the home side level when his header from a Michael Paton free-kick came back off the bar just before half-time but Oliver ensured a draw when he netted the equaliser after 62 minutes as he slotted home from a tight angle.
Ten minutes of stoppage time were played following a head injury to Euan Murray but neither side could find a winner.
