St Johnstone will be without regular central defenders Michael Duberry and Steven Anderson for the club’s next two matches against Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hibs.
The cards picked up against Dundee United recently (red for Anderson and yellow for Duberry) took both over the suspension points threshold.
Midfielder Chris Millar didn’t recover from a groin injury in time to appear at Hampden at the weekend but has a good chance of being fit for the Caley match on Monday night.
Meanwhile, manager Derek McInnes has lodged an appeal against the automatic four-match touchline ban he was given after being sent to the stand at Tannadice.
He will appear at an SFA disciplinary meeting on May 10 and can take his place in the dugout for all matches before then.
Chairman Geoff Brown has called on the Saints players to “show their other side” against Inverness and announced that admission will be cut to £10 for adults and £5 concessions.
Season ticket holders will have a discount applied to renewal costs for next season.
Brown said, “This is a small gesture and a ‘thank you’ to the fans who went along to Hampden Park on Saturday. We appreciate their support, not just at that game, but throughout the campaign.”
He added, “The board, the manager, the players and the fans were all disappointed on Saturday but the game against Inverness is a chance for the players to show their other side and give us a performance we can all enjoy and maybe even a goal or two.”
