Brechin City line up pre-season friendly against Aberdeen FC

Brechin City have secured a pre-season friendly against Craig Brown’s Aberdeen side.

The Dons are set to visit Glebe Park on Thursday, June 30 (7.45pm kick-off).

The game against the SPL outfit should provide City boss Jim Weir’s new-look squad with a stern test as they gear up for another tilt at promotion to the first division.

Brechin had previously announced other pre-season games against Dunfermline at home (Tuesday, July 5), as well as away fixtures at Buckie Thistle (Saturday, July 9) and Pollok Juniors (Tuesday, July 19).

Aberdeen will also provide the opposition for Forfar Athletic at Station Park on Monday July, 18.

Dick Campbell’s side also have home games lined up against Montrose (Tuesday, July 5) and Dundee (Wednesday, July 20).
