Brechin looking to keep league run going By Eric Nicolson October 17 2015, 9:12am October 17 2015, 9:12am Share Brechin looking to keep league run going Share via Facebook Twitter Linkedin Whatsapp Messenger Email Post link https://www.thecourier.co.uk/sport/football/234356/brechin-looking-to-keep-league-run-going/ Copy Link Darren Dods is hoping his Brechin City side can pick up from where they left off before the international break. The form graph is on the rise for the Glebe Park men, as is their league position. And Dods wants that to continue against Airdrie this afternoon. “We got a wee run going before the break,” he said. “So in that regard we just wanted to keep playing. “We’re unbeaten in three and if it hadn’t been for a last minute goal it would have been three wins out of three. “Obviously we didn’t get off to a good start but we’ve improved in our last few games.” Dods is confident that Airdrie will find the test Brechin pose a much more demanding one than when the sides met in August. “We had four of five boys injured that day,” he recalled. “And our goalkeeper was suspended. “We’re playing better now and the break has helped us get over a few knocks and strains. “We played a bounce game against Stirling Uni and it’s a fully fit squad that has trained well.”
