Arbroath begin what could be a season defining week at Stirling Albion today.
And manager Todd Lumsden is hoping their luck will start to turn.
He explained: “We know that we need to get wins on board to get into the play-offs.
“We have just had a massive week when we faced Queen’s Park, East Stirling and Clyde and now we face an even bigger week with Stirling on Saturday, Berwick on Tuesday and then East Stirling next weekend.
“We deserved more than the one point we have picked up from our last three games however we have carried no luck whatsoever. Missed chances, a sending off and a bizarre own goal have all worked against us.
“In terms of our performance levels it is difficult to pick anything different out from the last three games that is vastly different to the run of five wins in the six games we had before then.”
Lumsden added: “We have been playing well and things will turn for us. We recognise that Stirling Albion will be saying much the same as they have had a disappointing three game run as well.
“It is an incredibly tight league and winning the next three games could be massive for us. Despite recent disappointments it is important to be positive as we are not that far away.”
Ricky Little misses out after being dismissed last week with Craig Johnstone and David Gold not yet ready to return after knocks. Greg Rutherford is expected to be available despite a recent hamstring injury.
