Injury-plagued Sean Dillon almost ready for Dundee United return

Dundee United have been boosted by the news that Sean Dillon is finally set to return to full training.
The versatile Irish defender has missed the last eight weeks because of a calf tear and had to abandon an attempted comeback in October.
Now, though, United are confident another week of intensive physio will enable Dillon to rejoin the first-team squad.
Assistant manager Gary Kirk said: ”Sean is coming along well and we think he’ll be back by next Monday.
”He will train with the physio this week and keep doing the work he has been going through then will join the rest of the lads.
”It has been a hard time for him because he’s missed a lot of football but he’s been working hard to get fit again and we’ll be delighted once he’s back.”
