Forfar boss Dick Campbell has rejected any talk of panic ahead of today’s trip to Stenhousemuir.
The Loons have managed only one league win in their last 10 and that last victory came back on September 12 when they beat Brechin 2-0 at Glebe Park.
That poor run has seen the Angus men drop down to seventh spot in League One but Campbell believes they can get right back on track, starting this afternoon at Ochilview.
He said: “I know we need to turn it around but we are not panicking.
“We still not too far off a play-off place and we know how to deal with this.
“There are also a lot of good players at Forfar.
“We are lacking confidence, though, and I can see that in the way we are doing the wrong things on the park.
“That confidence can be restored.”
The Loons are expected to have Mark Baxter available after injury and he might go straight back into the side to face the Warriors.
Derek Young and Kerr Hay are also available after serving suspensions, although Thomas O’Brien still has a one-match ban.
Michael Dunlop was expected to return but has picked up a knock in training and is likely to miss out.
Stenhousemuir go into the game looking to extend their points lead over Forfar from three to six.
They are on a decent little run, having seen off both Peterhead and Stranraer in their last two matches.
