The former Rangers man has produced “a string of fine performances” to get chosen by the Scottish media. The 19-year-old, who signed after leaving Ibrox in the summer, scored in a 3-0 home win over St Mirren and starred in a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock. He also played a part in a 2-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup. Telfer came through the youth ranks with Rangers but rejected a new contract with the Scottish Championship club. The two clubs have yet to agree a compensation figure,and the matter is set to go to a tribunal.
