Brechin boss Ray McKinnon wins managerial accolade for second month running

Brechin City boss Ray McKinnon has been named SPFL League 1 Manager of the Month for February.

The former Dundee United, Nottingham Forest and Aberdeen midfielder was the unanimous winner of the vote after steering his team to an incredible 16-game unbeaten run in the league.

The Angus side won three and drew one of their February league fixtures, and last lost in league action on October 18, last year.

This is the second month in a row that McKinnon has picked up the managerial award.
