Madam, – It was refreshing to read Alex Bell’s analysis of the Scottish Government’s inaction when it comes to spelling out the realities of extricating Scotland from the Union (“Independence truth time”, The Courier, August 1).
Madam, – I refer to the letter from GM Lindsay (‘Double standard over new PM’, The Courier, July 27) in which he states the commissioners of the European Union are unelected and our first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, was not elected but anointed.
Madam, – I have never believed Boris Johnson is racist or rabidly right wing but a lot of the gossip, gaffes and japes stuck.
Madam, – Unionist letter writers will take any opportunity to attack the SNP or the Scottish Government.
Madam, – Nicola Sturgeon goes on about Westminster not giving Scottish people what they voted for by imposing Brexit on Scotland and is adamant she wants a second referendum to determine whether or not Scotland should split from the UK.
