The works on display at the Artery Gallery are by Perthshire artist Scott Carruthers.
Among them is one piece which depicts Lego men ascending and descending stairs in an infinite loop.
Lending more than a nod to an original work by the famed Dutch graphic artist MC Escher, the plastic figures are seen tackling a construction which would be impossible to build and possible to draw only by taking advantage of quirks of perception and perspective.
