Hiroshima bombing victims remembered during vigil on Dundee Law

Tayside CND held a candlelit procession and vigil on the Law to commemorate 69 years since the Hiroshima bombing

The peace vigil also remembers the centenery of the First World War, and ongoing wars around the world. The date has been observed in Dundee for the last 30 years.

There will also be a short act of rememberance on the Law on Saturday at 11.02am to mark the exact time the second atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.
