Plans for a new primary school and a nursery in Menzieshill in Dundee have been revealed.
Residents have been urged to comment on the proposals which have been submitted to the city council.
The school will cater for 600 students and will replace Hillside and Gowriehill Primary Schools.
The nursery, with a planned capacity of 100 pupils, will replace Menzieshill nursery school.
A pre-application consultation report states that the planned site is between Dickson Avenue and Earn Crescent.
The report adds: “The proposed development is the construction of primary and nursery schools with accommodation for 700 pupils.”
The consultation report shows the proposed development will have a range of teaching areas, including nursery provision.
The report added: “The site is to become a shared campus between two existing primary schools, Hillside and Gowriehill.
“It will also include a nursery, replacing Menzieshill nursery school.
“The proposed accommodation will include 21 classrooms, a 100-place nursery for two to five-year-olds, a dining/assembly hall, gym hall, drama, stage and music facilities and group rooms and break-out spaces.”
The gym hall and other features will also be available for community lets.
The report said: “While the majority of issues raised are covered, some issues such as on-site parking will always be constrained by local planning policies.”
Other issues to be discussed include arrangements for the dropping off and collection of children, traffic congestion and on-street parking around the site.
Parents and carers of children who go to the two primaries and the nursery received a letter earlier this year advising them they could comment on the plans once they were submitted.
The planning application has now been submitted and members of the public have until July 18 to submit their comments.
