A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.20pm on Saturday we were called to a report of a disturbance on Victoria Road, Kirkcaldy.

“Emergency services attended. There were no reports of serious injuries.

“A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
