ByThe Courier Reporter
The third annual Dundee College BA Design and Creativity Degree Show opens its exhibition tonight.
The college’s Gardyne Campus will showcase the work of students from a variety of creative disciplines including textiles, contemporary art, illustration, graphic design and fine art.
The show, delivered in collaboration with Gray’s School of Art/Robert Gordon University, provides creative students with an HND the opportunity to achieve the one-year BA degree.
Course leader Dean Robertson said the standard of work on display is very high and he hopes to attract visitors throughout the week.
He said: “It is a celebration of all they have achieved at the end of the academic year.”
Students will be on hand to talk about their work, some of which will be available for sale, and there will be an opportunity for artists to accept commissions.
The event opens with a private showing for students, families and industry guests in the Atrium this evening.
It will be open to the public on Thursday and Friday, from 10am-8pm, and from 10am-noon on Saturday.
