A play by Russian writer Maxim Gorky gets its Scottish premiere this week.

Acting and performance students at Dundee College believe The Last Days Of Yegor Bulychev has been performed only once before in the UK, in 1937.

Set in February 1917 and performed “in the round,” the production includes live music and is described as funny and entertaining, despite its weighty themes.

Its three-night run starts on Thursday at 7.30pm at The Space on the Kingsway Campus.
