Alexander Binnie, 23, of Fairbairn Street, was placed on a community payback order with unpaid work.
Gibson admitted breaching a condition of his bail order by contacting a witness in a trial by telephoning her on June 10 at an address on Brown Constable Street, and on June 15, at Templeton Woods, he approached and contacted the same woman.
Sheriff John Rafferty imposed 180 hours of unpaid work as part of the order.
