A serial shoplifter had sentence deferred at Dundee Sheriff Court until January 17 after breaching a community payback order.
The court heard David Milne, 39, of North Street, failed to comply with the order which had previously been imposed for more than a dozen offences of stealing from shops in Dundee and breaching bail conditions over a period from December 2015 up to July 12 2016.
Milne had previously admitted stealing from the Co-op in Charleston Drive, Spar in Orleans Place, Tesco South Road, B&M Bargains in Wellgate, possessing diazepam, resetting items from a house in Spey Drive, failing to appear at court, breaching bail conditions by entering Co-op in Charleston Drive and committing offences while subject to bail orders.
