Dundee United boss Csaba expects tough game from lowly Brechin

Csaba Laszlo has told his Dundee United players they will have to be 100% focused to maintain their winning run at Brechin today.

The Tangerines head for Glebe Park looking to make it four Championship wins in a row.

And with Brechin losing in each of their last seven league outings, this will be marked down as an away win on most coupons.

Csaba, though, has done his homework on the opposition and is stressing no side has had it easy against Darren Dods’ men.

“I know more or less everything about the team and also about their circumstances,” he said.

“I have a huge respect. It is a very tricky game.

“I talked before about Falkirk and the position of this team, they are a better team than to be second bottom.

“Brechin is the same. You see that they have won just two points but this team doesn’t lose games three zero, four zero or five zero.

“Every single game is very tight, it’s 1-0 or 2-1.

“It means they are very tough, especially at home and even against Dundee United, the first game was just 1-0.

“It was not a fantastic, huge result for us, so we must be really prepared for this one and we must be patient if we don’t score a quick goal.

“If we want to take the three points, we have to concentrate more than 90 minutes long.”

Skipper Willo Flood is set to make the starting XI after recovering from the dead leg that forced him off at half-time in the win over Falkirk.

With United taking a big support today, segregation will be in force with the visiting support being housed in the David Will Stand and part of the Hedgeside terracing.
