Award double for Dundee United

Dundee United’s stunning early season league form has been recognised with an award double.

Head coach Robbie Neilson has landed the Ladbrokes Championship Manager of the Month trophy and striker Lawrence Shankland the Ladbrokes Championship Player of the Month award.

United have won four games out of four, including the emphatic derby victory against Dundee.

Shankland has hit the ground running since signing in the summer, scoring in every game.
