General view / exterior view - to accompany story about possible assault in the area. A woman has been arrested following allegations of a serious assault in Dundee’s Charleston area. The Courier understands that a neighbour dispute spilled out into the street shortly after 11.20am. One person is alleged to have been struck with a blunt instrument as the incident unfolded, near to shops. Police officers were called to the scene in Craigmount Road at around 11.20am and investigations are still ongoing. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We responded to reports of a disturbance in Craigmount Road at about 11.20am. “A woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.” No-one is thought to have been seriously injured.
