The owner of a Broughty Ferry garage claims a giant puddle outside his business is an “accident waiting to happen”. Recent bad weather has seen a long-standing problem area of Dalhousie Road fill up again, to the dismay of John McGregor of Barnhill Garage. He said the repeated flooding is a risk to pedestrians and vehicles that drive through it. He has reported the issue to the council for the last seven years but accused them of “faffing about”. “Given the weather forecast for this weekend I feel it is a safety issue,” he said. “The council make promises about gully clearing but it seems there is not a long-term solution.” Dundee City Council was asked for comment but did not respond.
