Two in court in connection with heroin recovery in Dundee

Two men have appeared in court charged in connection with the recovery of £130,000 of heroin in Dundee.
Paul Crerar, 46, and David Lynn, 48 are accused of being concerned in the supply of the class A drug on the A90 near Gourdie Croft, Kingsway East and elsewhere on October 7.
Crerar, of Kingsway East and Lynn, no fixed abode, made no plea or declaration during individual appearances in private at Dundee Sheriff Court.
A third accused, a 39-year-old man from Dundee, was released by prosecutors ahead of an expected court appearance.
Sheriff George Way remanded both men in custody and continued the case until next week for further examination.
Police Scotland said that, following an intellienge-led operation, three men aged 46, 48 and 39 had been charged in relation to drugs offences after the recovery of heroin with a potential street value of £130,000 in Kingsway West and Kingway East areas of Dundee on Wednesday.
