Police are investigating the death of Jennifer Edwards, 45, whose body was discovered at the flat on Deas Wharf during the early hours of June 14. A post-mortem proved inconclusive and a police spokesman said officers are still treating Ms Edwards’ death as unexplained. For weeks after her body was found police maintained a presence outside the flat. They also appealed for help regarding last sightings of the mother-of-two between June 9 and June 13. Ms Edwards’ family are said to be supportive of the inquiry. Originally from New Zealand, she was a well-known sports massage therapist, working with clients from her home. Described as intelligent and cultured, Ms Edwards had travelled the world. Friends expressed shock following her death. However, they said she had suffered personal problems.
