Two-car accident on A92 causes traffic delays in Fife
ByCraig Smith
Commuters in central Fife were forced to endure some lengthy delays during their early morning rush hour after a two car accident on the A92.
The incident, which happened shortly after 8.30am, involved a Kia and a Ford Fiesta in the northbound fast lane of the dual carriageway, between the A911 Glenrothes and the A912 Muirhead junction.
It is understood that no-one was hurt, but the position of the vehicles meant drivers could only pass on the inside lane, causing queues for motorists travelling north out of Glenrothes.
Drivers across the region had been urged to take extra care due to dense fog.
