Police in Fife seized five vehicles as a crackdown on illegal use continued.
As part of Operation Reflector, local officers worked in collaboration with the DVLA in the Levenmouth area during a day of action on Wednesday March 23.
As a result, five vehicles belonging to four people were seized in Methil and a vehicle owner was issued with a DVLA Penalty Notice.
Community Sergeant Craig Fyall from Levenmouth Police Station said: “This is another example of positive partnership action taken to remove illegal vehicles from our streets that are a danger to the public, to the drivers and other road users.
“If anybody has any information in relation to the illegal and antisocial use of vehicles they can contact us via 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where callers can remain anonymous and calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.”
