ByJamie Buchan
A toddler who was trapped in a flat with the body of his dead mother for two days is recovering well from his nightmare ordeal, according to his family.
Mason Martin was rescued by police when they forced their way into his mum Lydia Macdonald’s flat in Perth.
The 28-year-old is believed to have died from an asthma attack.
A Lickley Court neighbour said she had heard Mason calling through the letter box: “Please help me wake up my mummy.”
The brave three-year-old’s grandparents said the youngster was now their number one priority.
Mason has been recovering in hospital and has been told his mother is gone, grandfather Ron Macdonald said.
