Prisoner jailed for £2,000 cell rampage at Perth prison

A prisoner who wrecked a cell at Perth prison has been jailed for a further five months.
Aaron Donald, who is currently a prisoner at HMP Saughton, caused more than £2000 of damage during the incident, which took place on February 12 last year.
The 24-year-old damaged the cell door, observation hatch, light fittings, electrical sockets and the cell call buttons.
Fiscal depute Jim Eodanable said Donald kicked off after being placed in a solitary cell.
Solicitor John McLaughlin, mitigating, said his client had liaised with psychiatric services since being moved to Saughton and suffered from “chronic post traumatic stress disorder”.
