A T in the Park reveller has admitted racially abusing and attacking two men while attending last summer’s music festival.
Malcolm McKay, of Corpach Place, Glasgow, admitted committing the offences on July 10 at the event at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire.
McKay pleaded guilty to acting in a racially-aggravated manner, which caused or was intended to cause alarm and distress, towards Parmjit Kevin Sodhi by swearing, shouting and making racist remarks.
He also admitted challenging Parmjit Kevin Sodhi to a fight and struggling with him.
The 19-year-old also pleaded guilty to assaulting Samual Delgado Olivieria by punching him on the body in a racially-aggravated assault.
McKay also admitted ehaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm at T in the Park and in a police vehicle en route from there to Perth police office, Barrack Street.
While in the vehicle, McKay repeatedly shouted, swore, spat, uttered racist and sectarian remarks and uttered threats of violence.
McKay pleaded guilty to a further charge of being in possession of cocaine at the festival.
Sheriff Simon Collins was told by McKay’s solicitor that his behaviour was out of character for his client.
Sentence was deferred for a criminal justice social work report.
