Howe of Fife have been drawn away to defending champions Heriot’s in the quarter-finals of the BT Cup.
The Goldenacre clash takes place on February 14.
If Howe win, their March 7 semi-final will be against either Kelso or Hawick, also away.
The final will be BT Murrayfield on Saturday April 18 as part of the annual BT Finals Day.
SRU President ian rankin, who made the draw, said: “The journey to BT Murrayfield and the BT Cup final is fantastic and today’s draw will really begin to build on the excitement.
“There is a magic to the cup competition. I have been fortunate enough to lead Dundee to the final on a number of occasions.
“It’s great to still have teams like Howe of Fife and Kelso involved, who are a few steps below the top division. They have already shown the underdogs can upset the applecart.
“Some good local derbies have been pulled out the bag this afternoon and, having also drawn the semi-final, the journey to the final is now clear.”
