A new private equity firm set up by Perth firm Braveheart Investment Group less than a year ago has won a top award.
The company and its consortium partners NEL Fund Managers and Clarendon Fund Managers moved to establish WhiteRock Capital Partners in Northern Ireland last year.
The new venture, which manages a £50 million growth loan fund which provides funding support of between £50,000 and £500,000 to small and medium sized businesses, has been named private equity firm of the year at the Insider Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards.
The award was accepted by WhiteRock Capital chief investment officer Paul Millar. Braveheart chief executive Geoffrey Thomson also travelled to Belfast for the ceremony.
