An Edinburgh law firm has opened a new branch in Dundee as part of an ambitious expansion plan.

Ennova Law, a business and private client firm, is aiming to have a staff of five in the short to medium term at their practice in the Flour Mill office development in Exchange Court.

The branch will be led by partner Fraser Morrison who joined the firm six months ago from Blackadders.

Mr Morrison said: “As a proud Dundonian, I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to head up the firm’s new office, as the city continues its resurgence.

“I specialise in commercial property so it’s a great time to be working in Dundee with the transformation of the waterfront continuing apace.”

Ennova Law practices in all aspects of commercial and residential property, including property development, corporate law, dispute resolution and private client services.

The firm, which has its head office in central Edinburgh.

It currently has 27 staff including 14 solicitors and four principal partners.

Ennova chairman, Bill Gibson, said: “The new Dundee office is part of our longer-term growth strategy and means we’re ideally placed to continue to give our existing Tayside clients a first-class service and expand our business in the local area.

“It’s an exciting time for Dundee with the V&A and ongoing waterfront development and we’re incredibly excited to be providing legal services in the city at this time.”

Ennova recently celebrated its fifth anniversary after being launched in May 2014 which coincided with a new growth strategy.

The firm is looking to further bolster its team over the next three to five years with plans for up to five new staff based in Dundee and more than 10 additional employees across the firm.

The company hopes to recruit its staff for the new branch from within the Dundee and Angus area.
