Two people have been charged with assault after a woman “fell from a window” at a block of flats in Dundee.
Police were called to Spey Drive, Menzieshill on Wednesday night after receiving reports a 30-year-old woman had fallen from a window.
The woman was taken to hospital and officers cordoned off a “sizeable area” area outside the block.
Residents said forensics officers in white suits arrived at the scene a short time later.
The Courier’s reporter James Simpson is at the scene on Spey Drive on Thursday morning.
He said: “A sizeable cordon has been erected at a greenspace at the side of a block of flats on Spey Drive.
“A police officer is currently situated just outside the cordon in a van.
“The area police are guarding is close to a small play park.”

One woman who lives nearby says there was a lot of noise just before police arrived at around 8pm on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old said: “A woman was lying on the ground (outside the flats).
“She was taken away in an ambulance, and immediately after that, the area was taped off.”
Another neighbour said: “Before the emergency services arrived, a carer went over to assist the woman on the ground.
“The emergency services arrived in large numbers thereafter.
“As soon as the woman was taken to hospital, the cordon went up.
“It was a small area that was taped off at first before it grew in size.
“CID were doing inquiries last night and forensics in white suits were here at around 11pm.
“I was concerned to see what was going on.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 8pm on Wednesday we received a report of a woman having fallen from a window of a property in Spey Drive, Dundee.
“Officers attended and the 30-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment
“A 47-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with assault.
“They are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.
