Forfar Academy are preparing to bring international hit musical Hairspray to the stage of their new community campus theatre from June 14 to 16.
Directed by the school’s own drama teachers, Paul Harrison and Pauline Taylor, and under the musical direction of Kat McVey and Euan Gow, pupils have been preparing for months to delight the local community with their acting, singing and dancing talents.
“Hairspray is perfect, it’s fun, upbeat, energetic and we really wanted it to be our first school show in the new campus,” said the group.
Forfar Academy head teacher, Melvyn Lynch said the show would be a “wonderful start” for productions at the new community campus and thanked sponsors.
Tickets are available at the community campus reception.
